I have been in the collectibles business for over 15 years now and I
have a
good working knowledge of nearly all of the items that I sell.
In
fact I have been using some of them since I was under 10 years of age.
I'm sure most of you out there have bought stuff from that big auction
site and been disappointed with the quality of the merchandise or with
the quality of the service provided, or perhaps with both.
Well if you want accurately described items and top notch
service
you have come to the right place.
As I said I have been doing this for a long time and I feel that my
expertise is worth something. In addition I have put a lot of
time
into inspecting, sorting and accurately describing the items that I
list and I need to be compensated for that as well. You may
very
well find an item that I have listed on my site for half the price on
the auction site. But you also may very well have to buy that
same
item 2 or 3 times before you get a copy that you are happy with, or
just to get a copy that's not missing parts. Like they
say......
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.....
Okay on to the stuff. We have a large selection of ANTIQUE AND
VINTAGE SPORTS BOARD GAMES listed on this site. I have separated
the games first by sport - BASEBALL GAMES, FOOTBALL GAMES, HOCKEY GAMES
and BASKETBALL GAMES. There is also a section for all other
sports which includes GOLF GAMES, BOXING GAMES, HORSE RACING GAMES,
AUTO RACING GAMES and anything else that doesn't come under the heading
of the major 4 sports. Then there is a section of VINTAGE
HANDHELD ELECTRONIC GAMES. In keeping with the spirit of the
website there are only sports-themed games included here. Finally
I have made separate sections for some of the most popular game lines:
Strat-o-matic games, APBA games,
original Sports Illustrated Baseball games, Sports Illustrated Paydirt
and Bowl Bound Football games, Avalon Hill Statis Pro games,
Vintage 3M
games
like Speed Circuit, Win Place and Show, Regatta and many more that came
under the control of the Avalon Hill Game company over the years.
There is also a section devoted to the smaller manufacturers of
Statistical Replay Games.
For you Electric Football fans we have a good selection of Tudor
Electric Football, Miggle Electric Football and occasionally some
Gotham or Coleco models. And for you Table Hockey Fans
there's a
section for Munro Table Hockey, Eagle Table Hockey, Coleco Table Hockey
and Wayne Gretzky Table Hockey games as well as some odd-ball items.
