The company built up momentum during the 1940's and really hit it's stride after the war. TV was becoming a household fixture and with sports being a big part of early TV programming Baseball and Football were becoming hugely popular. The American economy was booming and the sports-crazy kids of the 1950's and 1960's wanted toys. Cadaco was in a great position to fill that need with it's stable of great sports games.
FOTO-ELECTRIC FOOTBALL, ALL STAR BASEBALL and BAS-KET were all hugely successful and continued to be produced well into the 20th century. Sadly most of the games are no longer in print. The last we have seen of the All Star Baseball Game was a tin box collector's edition issued in 2003 and a poor quality version of the Bas-Ket game put out in 2004.
