Munro Shorty Table Hockey Team
MONTREAL CANADIENS
used with some 1960's tables

These are for use with 1960's-early 1970's era Munro / Sears "Hot Shot" tables and some 1960's "Pro League" tables. They can also be used on the 1960's-1970's Tudor "Pro Hockey" tables. When compared to the much more common standard 1960's design, these "shorty" players are, as you might guess, quite a bit more compact. This is important because if you try to use the standard players on a table that is designed for these shorty players you will find that they cannot rotate thru their full arc. They will hit the walls or other players. Note that they are the same height, so "shorty" is a bit of a misnomer.

1960s munro shorty table hockey team MONTREAL CANADIENS

This particular set is in VERY GOOD condition. There is some scuffing to all the players but no major rust and no bending. I would grade it a 5 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

CONDITION GUIDE:

MINT(10):  I will only give this grade to brand new, unused items. NEAR MINT (9):  Shows virtually no use.  Seldom if ever played.   Perhaps just the slightest bit of scuffing to the body or a tiny bit of paint loss in the post mount.   No rust, no bending.  EXCELLENT (7-8):  These were played with but very lightly.  Some minor paint scuffs probably a little heavier in the post mounts.  Maybe a tiny bit of rust starting in the mounts.  Perhaps a couple may have minor bending but they will lie basically flat.    VERY GOOD (5-6):  The players were not especially well cared for but are not badly worn.  There will be some scuffing from normal use as well as normal wear to the post mounts.  There may be some small rust spots but nothing that will detract from the general attractiveness of the players.  Some players may have bends.  GOOD (3-4): Obviously no care was taken with the players but they are still playable as is.  There will be noticeable rust, paint wear and  bending.  POOR (1-2):  Only suitable to fill a space in your collection.  Heavy wear.  May be incomplete set.
