MUNRO TABLE HOCKEY GAME
EXTRA TEAMS BOX SET 1968

MUNRO Table Hockey Game EXTRA TEAMS BOX SET

This is a complete set of Extra Teams (circa 1968) for use on the diamond post  Munro Tables from the 1960's.  On the whole this particular set is in VERY GOOD condition.   Some teams show more use, some show less, but I think VERY GOOD is a pretty accurate overview.  You can see some close-ups at the bottom of the page.  I would grade it a 5-6 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

MUNRO Table Hockey Game EXTRA TEAMS box

The game box is in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT  condition.   As you can see at the top of the picture there is a tear where the box was taped shut.  There is a similar tear on the bottom edge.  Otherwise the box is in very nice shape with some light rubbing, bright colors and no stains or writing.  It has 3 split corners.  The plastic tray has some cracking but still intact.  The box bottom has some tape damage.  I would grade the box a 6-7 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

CONDITION GUIDE:

MINT (10):
I will only give this grade to brand new, unused items. NEAR MINT (9):  Shows virtually no use.  Seldom if ever played.   Perhaps just the slighest bit of scuffing to the body or a tiny bit of paint loss in the post mount.   No rust, no bending.  EXCELLENT (7-8):  These were played with but very lightly.  Some minor paint scuffs probably a little heavier in the post mounts.  Maybe a tiny bit of rust starting in the mounts.  Perhaps a couple may have minor bending but they will lie basically flat.    VERY GOOD (5-6):  The players were not especially well cared for but are not badly worn.  There will be some scuffing from normal use as well as normal wear to the post mounts.  There may be some small rust spots but nothing that will detract from the general attractiveness of the players.  Some players may have bends.  GOOD (3-4): Obviously no care was taken with the players but they are still playable as is.  There will be noticable rust, paint wear and  bending.  POOR (1-2):  Only suitable to fill a space in your collection.  Heavy wear.  May be incomplete set.
