TITLE BOUT BOXING GAME

While TITLE BOUT was not technically part of Jim Barnes' original STATIS PRO series, it uses very similar game mechanics so it seems to make sense to have it listed in the STATIS PRO section of the website.  Title bout was originally designed by Tom and James Trunzo, who marketed it under the name Truco Boxing.  They continued to operate the company until the late 1970's when Sports Illustrated / Avalon Hill acquired the rights to the game.  The Turnzos are also the designers of the AH/SI Pro Tennis game.

All the games and card sets listed below are the originals manufactured by Truco / Sports Illustrated / Avalon Hill, not home made copies.  The complete games have all the parts needed to play that edition of the game plus a complete set of the player cards for the indicated season.   The loose card sets sold separately do not include any game parts so you already need to own the game to use them.

Just click on the game title(s) below the pictures to see details about that particular edition of the game and for info on how to make a purchase.
