3M BLUE LINE HOCKEY GAMES

This game is part of a series of sports game released by the 3M company during the 1960's and early 70's.  The original games all had the same basic format - a slender box containing the high quality game components, with a wrap-around vinyl playing board. 

The 3M catalog was later bought out by Avalon Hill. That company continued to manufacture most of the games, converting them into the standard AH bookshelf format. Blue Line Hockey was one of the games that Avalon Hill chose not to continue producing.
