AVALON HILL BASEBALL STRATEGY GAMES

Avalon Hill began producing it's BASEBALL STRATEGY Game in 1960. The first version was sold in a tube. It was re-released a couple times in the during the 60's / early 70's with minor changes as a "flat box" game, with the earlier ones having a thicker box. Avalon Hill then revamped the game in the early 70's for the first bookshelf version and then again did some minor changes for the 80's bookshelf version. Later versions bore the "Sports Illustrated" moniker.
