Initially produced under the name Strategy Game company, Avalon Hill's FOOTBALL STRATEGY Game first came out in 1959 and it quickly became a classic. The game was re-released a number of times with minor changes from the 1960's thru the 1980's. Later versions bore the "Sports Illustrated" moniker.
