Cadaco produced it's
Foto-Electric games from the 1940's through the mid 1970's.
Foto-Electric Football was a very innovative game in that it allowed
the players to watch a play unfold in real-time. Each side picks a play
card and places it on a lighted tray. The play is slowly uncovered and
in doing so the progress of the play unfolds before your
eyes. Depending on
which play each side picks the result of the play can vary widely. While Foto-Electric Football was
far more popular, the company also released a Foto-Electric Baseball
game. In
the late 70's Foto-Electric Football was re-released without the
electric parts under the name "Foto-Football".
