Munro Table Hockey Team
used with 1950's tables
These are for use with the
1950's era Munro "Electric"
tables. When compared to the much more common 1960's design, the 1950's
players are a bit shorter and more compact. This is important because
if you try to use the later players on a table that is designed for
these 1950's players you will find that they cannot rotate thru their
full arc. They will hit the walls or other players. They can be easily
distinguished by the slight curve on the outside edge of the mount.
They are also of heavier tin than the other Munro players. This
particular set is in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. I
would grade it a 6-7 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).
I will only give this grade
to brand new, unused items. NEAR MINT (9):
Shows virtually no use. Seldom if ever played.
Perhaps just the slightest bit of scuffing to the
body or a tiny bit of paint loss in the post mount. No rust,
no bending. EXCELLENT (7-8):
These were played with but very lightly. Some minor
paint scuffs probably a little heavier in the post mounts.
Maybe a tiny bit of rust starting in the mounts.
Perhaps a couple may have minor bending but they will lie
basically flat. VERY GOOD (5-6):
The players were not especially well cared for but are not
worn. There will be some scuffing from normal use as well as
normal wear to the post mounts. There may be some small rust
spots but nothing that will detract from the general attractiveness of
the players. Some players may have bends. GOOD (3-4):
Obviously no care was taken with the players but they are still
is. There will be noticeable rust, paint wear
and bending. POOR
Only suitable to fill a space in your collection.
Heavy wear. May be incomplete set.
