NFL MODEL 635 (1973)
Dallas Cowboys vs. KC Chiefs

This is the 635 model game from the early 1970's. The 635 model comes with a smaller board than 620 model. It includes the first version of the TTC bases. These used red pegs to control the running direction rather than the discs used on the later bases.

The field is in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. There is some fingerprint soiling on the edges in places but on the whole it's in good shape. All the plastic feet are intact and there is only one small dent on the edge. The playing surface is free of dents but there are some hairline scratches. There is no significant rust. I have tested out the motor and switch and bother are in good working conditoin. Overall I would grade the field a 6-7 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

The game parts are in EXCELLENT condition. It has all the original parts needed to play the game. Even includes a complete set of team names for the scoreboard. The only thing missing is the instructions and a few of the decals used on the flags and markers. Still has plenty of original felt footballs. Overall I would grade the game parts 7 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

The teams are in VERY GOOD condition. The game comes with the 2 teams that were originally included with this edition of the game: 1) Dark Jersey HK CL Cowboys, 2) Light Jersey HK CL Chiefs. Both teams have a complete set of 11 players. One Cowboys DB is missing an arm and one Chiefs DB is bent at the ankles but still intact. Otherwise they are all free of breaks or bends and show only moderate use. The players have all been numbered but I am including extra number sheets so you can re-do them if you wish. Each player has an original red-peg TTC base. The tool for inserting and adjusting the pegs will be included as well. Overall I would grade the teams 5-6 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

The box is in VERY GOOD condition. It is in decent shape on the whole with no signficant stains and nice colors. It does have some holes where the plastic feet on the field poked through and the top flap is badly torn. Overall I would grade the box 5-6 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

CONDITION GUIDE: 

MINT (10):  I will only give this grade to brand new, unused items. NEAR MINT (9):  Shows virtually no use.  Seldom if ever played.   Perhaps some very light handling creases to the instructions or other minor flaws with the game parts.  Boxes will have only the slightest hint of shelf wear.   EXCELLENT (7-8): The game has seen some use but it was obviously well taken care of.  Game parts might have some light handling creases or other signs of careful use.  Board might have just a hint of color loss or dented corners.  Boxes will have light rubbing to the artwork or perhaps some minor dishing or a very light stain.   VERY GOOD (5-6):  The game was not especially well cared for but it still has faired pretty well.  Game parts will show obvious use but nothing will be torn, badly stained or have any serious damage.  Box may have some rubbing, light staining, dishing, 1 or 2 neatly split corners, minor writing and/or a few pieces of tape.  No major structural damage and artwork will still be generally attractive.  GOOD (3-4): Obviously no care was taken with the game but it is still playable as is.  Game parts show considerable use but the game is complete with all parts in usable condition.  Box may have staining, writing, split corners, dishing and/or other structural damage but it will be intact and still usable.   POOR (1-2):  Only suitable to fill a space in your collection.  Game will be missing parts (these will be noted).  Box will have serious damage and may be missing aprons or badly torn.
